quak this collection is an absolute treasure - perfect pop music with th occasional experiment littered throughout to keep things fresh. bob's structures r always keeping me on my toes while never distracting from the songwriting's strengths and his sound is an incredible and very natural mesh of every pop act before the 90's that matters and is indicative of a deep appreciation for pop music (fav was between this and miracle in the making) Favorite track: Hang With It (1989).
Dani Lee Pearce

Dani Lee Pearce I hear Howard Jones, Brian Wilson, Prefab Sprout, Daryll Hall, Thompson Twins, Duran Duran and perhaps most astonishingly some Really on-point interperetations of post-disco and new-jack swing all throughout this collection. Like opening up a buried treasure chest full of creature comfort music catered specifically for me, and anyone else who holds synthpop of this variety close to their heart. Favorite track: Life Goes On (1987).
William Leonard

William Leonard A four-hour treasure trove. Amazing pop gems, twisted synth experiments, and everything in between. Through this you will voyage across the entire spectrum of 1980s pop. Favorite track: My Love (1988).

about

These were the songs I made before I completed my first "album" on CD. Many of them used the Roland Juno 60, an awesome synth. They begin with the very first song I recorded in 1982, bouncing two stereo tape decks, when I was in junior high school, and proceeds into using a 4-track tape recorder, and ends with a small batch I made in 1993, using a Roland D-50, also an awesome synth in its day. And of course, the best instrument in the 80s and early 90s, a digital sampler! I've tried to put notes into individual songs here in case you want to know more about them.

Wow, thanks to you awesome people who reviewed my songs, I'd love to give you all a big hug!

I've made music all my life. I was so driven that I commandeered my dad's cassette tape deck and my grandfather's reel-to-reel, so that I could play over a recording and record the result, back-and-forth, until it was mostly white noise. But I kept going and am still at it!
